Government Decision 1378/2011 (8 November)

On the 2012 Raoul Wallenberg Year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the saviour diplomat and on the establishment of the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Committee

The Government

a)    supports the organisation of the Raoul Wallenberg Year in 2012 and calls on the Minister of Foreign Affairs to arrange for the implementation of the events of the Raoul Wallenberg Year with the involvement of Balassi Institute;

b)    calls on the Minister of Foreign Affairs to establish a Memorial Committee to organise the Raoul Wallenberg Year, which shall be responsible for the events of the Centenary;

c)    calls on the Members of Government to ensure the Government’s participation and support to the due preparation and implementation of the Raoul Wallenberg Year.

2. This decision shall come into force on the day of its publication.
